Malaysia Pacific Corporation Berhad (MPCB) was incorporated in Malaysia as a private limited company under the name of Weld Development Sdn. Bhd. on 23 May 1972. The company changed its name to Malaysia Pacific Land Sdn. Bhd. on 9 May 1977. In 1997, the company was listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE).
