Management Accountant

Responsibility:

• Responsible for timely financial closings, physical inventory process, analysis of operational variances, new products costing, including annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Prepare adhoc dmanagement and other reports ets.
• Responsible for cost control, financial analysis and annual budgetary control. Lead cost reduction initiatives in the areas of property development and new product development and monitor actual achievements.
• Preparation of the monthly accounts to facilitate internal and external reporting and in accordance to respective applicable legal compliances with local authorities.
• Responsible to work closely with property associates to ensure actual costs, standard costs, cost variances are delivered to management in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, commerce or equivalent.
• Must have at least 3 years of previous experience in cost accounting.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is requires for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specializing in Management – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Self motivated and able to perform well under tight deadlines.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting and financial report skills.
• Well verse in Microsoft Office Suite & computerized accounting systems is necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill. Good command of spoken and writing English and Bahasa Malaysia.
